Game Overview

Step into the mystical world of Taoist charms and ancient wisdom with Wuji, a roguelike turn-based deck-building card game inspired by the principles of Yin, Yang, and the Eight Trigrams (Bagua).

Gameplay Features

• Dynamic Trigram System: Play Yin (- -) and Yang (-) cards to form trigrams, each unlocking unique and powerful effects. Combine trigrams to summon blessings from Taoist immortals, amplifying your strategies.
• Deck-Building Depth: Collect cards of varying types with diverse effects. Each card has its own mana cost, and careful resource management is key to victory.
• Tactical Combat: Draw 5 cards per turn, build your hand, and craft strategies on the fly. 
• Immortal Blessings: Progress through battles to earn blessings from eight Taoist deities, each tied to a specific trigram. Enhance your cards, strengthen your abilities, and reshape the battlefield to your advantage.

Core Trigrams and Effects

• Qián (☰, Heaven): Copy the effect of any other trigram except Qián.
• Kūn (☷, Earth): Gain 1 coin.
• Zhèn (☳, Thunder): Deal damage to all enemies.
• Xùn (☴, Wind): Draw one card.
• Kǎn (☵, Water): Gain Armor to block incoming damage (resets next turn).
• Lí (☲, Fire): Deal high damage to a random enemy.
• Gèn (☶, Mountain): Gain one stack of Hardness (25% damage reduction, consumed upon attack).
• Duì (☱, Lake): Restore 1 mana (cannot exceed 3).

Unique Mechanic: Continuous Trigram 

Unleash the true potential of your deck by chaining trigrams! After playing three cards to form your first trigram, every additional card in the same turn will trigger a new trigram effect. Master this mechanic to overwhelm your enemies with relentless power.

Discover Synergies

Each trigram is supported by two unique talismans (Yin and Yang), which not only amplify their effects but also provide benefits when used to trigger other trigrams. Build your deck wisely and uncover endless synergies to dominate your foes.
